As a Network Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our clients' digital infrastructure. We are looking for self-starters who are eager to learn, troubleshoot complex issues, and support a diverse range of network environments.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware, including routers, switches, and servers.
- Perform physical cabling tasks, including fiber and copper termination, and cable management.
- Assist senior technicians with network audits, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Provide first-level technical support and user assistance for network connectivity issues.
- Ensure network security protocols are followed and documentation is updated accurately.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure system stability and uptime.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in IT or related field preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Physical stamina to climb ladders and lift equipment (up to 50 lbs).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to obtain relevant industry certifications (training provided).
