Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) to ensure high performance and security.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Monitor network traffic and system performance to identify and resolve potential bottlenecks or security threats.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users regarding network connectivity and hardware issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of network topology, configurations, and change logs.
- Collaborate with the IT team to plan and execute network upgrades and infrastructure projects.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in network administration or engineering.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and VLANs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex network issues under pressure.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites.
