Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and implement solutions
- Execute network security protocols and vulnerability assessments
- Document network configurations, changes, and maintenance procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
- Provide Tier-3 technical support for network-related incidents
- Optimize network performance through regular updates and capacity planning
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto devices
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional on-call duties
