Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN networks including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Nagios
- Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues with Cisco/Juniper devices
- Implement network security protocols including VPNs and intrusion detection systems
- Document network topology changes and create technical documentation
- Collaborate with cloud teams on hybrid infrastructure solutions
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex network outages
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Engineering or related field (CCNP/JNCIP preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- Expertise in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN configuration
- Strong knowledge of Cisco IOS/Junos and Fortinet security appliances
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure) and SD-WAN solutions
- CompTIA Network+ or equivalent certification required
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotation
