Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using advanced diagnostic tools (provided)
- Resolve network outages and security incidents within SLA requirements
- Document network configurations and create technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network infrastructure projects
- Implement network security protocols and best practices
- Train junior technicians on network operations procedures
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in network administration or similar role
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification (company-sponsored training available)
- Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto networks
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Valid Texas driver's license for occasional client site visits
