Responsibilities
- Test Execution: Execute comprehensive manual and automated test cases to verify software functionality and user experience.
- Bug Tracking: Identify, document, and track software bugs and issues using JIRA, providing clear reproduction steps.
- Regression Testing: Perform thorough regression testing on new builds and updates to ensure existing functionality remains intact.
- Collaboration: Partner with developers and product managers to understand requirements and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Test Planning: Assist in creating detailed test plans, test cases, and test data based on product specifications.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of test results, defects, and coverage metrics.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1-3 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance (Manual Testing preferred).
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with API testing (Postman/REST Assured).
- Automation: Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium WebDriver or Cypress is a plus.
- Tools: Proficiency in JIRA, TestRail, or similar bug tracking tools.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
- Detail-Oriented: A meticulous approach to testing and a strong drive for quality.
