Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark
- Diagnose and resolve network outages and security incidents
- Implement network security protocols and access controls
- Document network configurations and create technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network optimization projects
- Train junior technicians on network best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in network administration and support
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and wireless networking
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware and software issues
- Knowledge of cloud networking concepts (AWS/Azure)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs for equipment installation
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license for site visits
