Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Cisco/Juniper network equipment including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Nagios to proactively resolve issues
- Implement security protocols including VPN setups, access controls, and threat mitigation
- Collaborate with cloud teams on hybrid network architecture and AWS/Azure integration
- Document network changes using Visio and maintain accurate infrastructure diagrams
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex network outages and escalations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise network administration
- Cisco CCNP/Juniper JNCIP certification required
- Expertise in OSPF, BGP, and VLAN configuration
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and network security best practices
- Familiarity with SD-WAN technologies (Cisco Viptela/Palo Alto Prisma)
- Experience with network automation using Python/Ansible
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
