Launch your tech career with our immersive paid training program! TechGrow Academy is seeking passionate Junior Web Developers in Oakland to join our 12-week intensive bootcamp-style training. No prior coding experience required – we provide all the tools and mentorship you need to transform into a full-stack developer. Our cohort-based approach combines hands-on projects with 1:1 coaching from industry experts, ensuring you job-ready skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and Node.js. After graduation, you'll transition to a permanent full-time role at one of our partner companies in the Bay Area.
Responsibilities
- Complete 12-week web development curriculum covering front-end and back-end technologies
- Build responsive websites and interactive web applications using modern frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on real-world client projects
- Participate in daily stand-ups and code reviews to improve technical skills
- Create portfolio projects demonstrating proficiency in full-stack development
- Master Git workflows and agile development methodologies
- Receive weekly mentorship sessions with senior developers
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Strong problem-solving abilities and logical thinking
- Basic computer literacy and internet navigation skills
- Passion for technology and eagerness to learn coding fundamentals
- Ability to commit to 40 hours/week during training period
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
