Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize prompts for GPT-4, Claude, and other large language models
- Conduct A/B testing to refine prompt efficacy and output quality
- Collaborate with ML engineers to integrate prompt strategies into production systems
- Document best practices and create reusable prompt templates
- Analyze model outputs and iterate based on performance metrics
- Train stakeholders on prompt engineering principles
- Research emerging AI capabilities and apply them to client solutions
Qualifications
- 2+ years of prompt engineering or NLP experience
- Proficiency with Python and API integrations (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
- Portfolio demonstrating prompt optimization projects
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, or related field
- Deep understanding of transformer architectures and LLM behavior
- Excellent written communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Familiarity with Cincinnati tech ecosystem preferred
