Responsibilities
- Execute manual test cases and assist in the creation of test plans under supervision.
- Document and track software defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Perform regression testing to ensure existing features continue to work after new updates.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and clarify doubts.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of test environments.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings.
- Provide feedback on user interface and user experience to improve product quality.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus.
- No prior professional QA experience is required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Strong attention to detail and a logical approach to problem-solving.
- Basic understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficient in using web browsers and basic computer navigation skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn new testing tools and technologies.
