Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Monitor network performance, traffic analysis, and system health to ensure high availability and uptime.
- Diagnose and resolve complex network connectivity issues and hardware failures.
- Implement and maintain network security protocols to protect against cyber threats and unauthorized access.
- Conduct regular network audits and update documentation of network topology and configurations.
- Collaborate with the IT team to plan and execute network upgrades and migration projects.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users regarding network usage and best practices.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or Certificate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Network Engineering.
- CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA certification is strongly preferred.
- 3-5 years of proven experience in network administration or technical support.
- In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching.
- Experience with networking equipment (Cisco, Juniper, or Arista preferred).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
