Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for suspicious activity
- Investigate security alerts and document findings using incident response protocols
- Assist in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls
- Participate in security awareness training programs for employees
- Generate daily security reports and maintain compliance documentation
- Stay updated on emerging threats through industry research and training
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred but not required)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work rotating shifts and on-call rotations
