Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using provided SIEM tools (Splunk/Syslog)
- Conduct forensic investigations on security incidents using Kali Linux and Wireshark
- Implement vulnerability management scans using Nessus and Qualys licenses
- Develop incident response playbooks for zero-day threats
- Collaborate with network teams using Cisco FirePower and Palo Alto NGFW
- Generate executive security dashboards using provided Tableau licenses
- Conduct penetration testing with provided Metasploit Pro access
Qualifications
- 3+ years in SOC operations with hands-on SIEM experience
- Active CISSP or Security+ certification (training provided)
- Proficiency in Python for automation scripts
- Experience with MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Validated threat hunting capabilities using provided tools
- Knowledge of NIST CSF compliance frameworks
- Ability to work 24/7 shift rotations (equipment provided for remote monitoring)
- Strong written communication for incident reporting
