Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events through SIEM platforms to identify potential threats and incidents.
- Assist in the investigation of suspicious network traffic, system anomalies, and user behavior.
- Support vulnerability scanning and patch management processes to maintain system integrity.
- Document security incidents, logs, and procedures in accordance with compliance standards (NIST, ISO).
- Conduct basic security assessments and create reports for management review.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security best practices across the organization.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and operating systems (Windows, Linux).
- Certifications: Security+ or willingness to obtain it within 6 months of hire is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Communication: Ability to write clear, concise technical reports and communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Language: Fluent in English.
