- Design & Optimize: Craft complex, context-aware prompts for various AI models (e.g., GPT-4, Claude) to maximize output quality and relevance.
- Iterative Testing: Conduct rigorous A/B testing on prompt variations to identify the most effective strategies for different use cases.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation of prompt libraries, best practices, and model behaviors to ensure knowledge transfer across the team.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineers to translate business requirements into technical prompt specifications.
- Feedback Loops: Analyze AI responses and user feedback to continuously refine prompt engineering strategies and reduce hallucinations.
- Training: Mentor junior team members on prompt engineering techniques and AI model capabilities.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in technical writing, copywriting, or a related field with a focus on AI or machine learning.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in Python and familiarity with RESTful APIs and SDKs (e.g., OpenAI API).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, English, or a related technical field.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about logic and ambiguity.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts simply.
