As an IT Support Trainee, you will work under the guidance of senior technicians, learning the ropes of network administration, hardware troubleshooting, and software deployment. We invest in our team members and provide the tools you need to succeed.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and peripherals (laptops, printers, monitors).
- Provide Tier 1 technical support and troubleshooting for end-users via phone, email, and in-person.
- Assist in the setup of new employee workstations and network access.
- Diagnose and resolve common hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Document technical incidents and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Participate in regular IT maintenance windows and system updates.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Basic understanding of PC hardware components and operating systems (Windows 10/11, macOS).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs for equipment setup.
- Willingness to obtain professional certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+) during employment.
