As an IT Support Trainee, you will work alongside senior technicians to diagnose hardware and software issues, maintain network infrastructure, and provide top-tier support to our internal employees. We value curiosity, problem-solving skills, and a strong desire to learn.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop hardware and software.
- Troubleshoot and resolve end-user issues via ticketing systems and direct support.
- Support local area network (LAN) operations and ensure connectivity.
- Conduct regular hardware inventory and asset management.
- Participate in on-the-job training sessions and shadow senior IT staff.
- Document technical issues and resolutions in the knowledge base.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in IT or related field preferred.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows), and peripherals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lift and carry IT equipment (up to 50 lbs).
- Relevant IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+) are a plus but not mandatory.
