Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot & Repair: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for end-users, including desktops, laptops, printers, and network connectivity.
- Ticket Management: Manage and prioritize incoming support tickets using our Service Desk software (e.g., JIRA, ServiceNow) to ensure timely resolution.
- System Deployment: Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows, macOS) and office productivity software.
- User Support: Provide exceptional customer service and technical training to staff on new technologies and security protocols.
- Security Compliance: Assist in maintaining cybersecurity best practices, including password policies and antivirus updates.
- Asset Management: Track IT inventory, perform hardware audits, and ensure equipment is properly accounted for.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in IT support, Help Desk, or a similar technical role.
- Education: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office 365. Experience with Active Directory and basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS) is highly preferred.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently.
- Availability: Must be able to work occasional evenings or weekends during critical system updates.
