Responsibilities
- Deploy and configure Cisco routers, switches, and wireless access points
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and PRTG tools
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues across LAN/WAN environments
- Implement security protocols including VLAN segmentation and firewalls
- Document network topology and create maintenance schedules
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex network outages
- Collaborate with cloud engineers for hybrid infrastructure solutions
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in enterprise network administration
- CCNA/CCNP certification required
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Hands-on experience with Cisco ASA/Palo Alto firewalls
- Strong knowledge of VMware ESXi and Hyper-V virtualization
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends/on-call
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license for occasional site visits
- CompTIA Network+ or equivalent certification
