Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues using diagnostic tools and protocols
- Implement network security measures and monitor for vulnerabilities
- Document network configurations, changes, and maintenance procedures
- Provide technical support to end-users via ticketing system and remote assistance
- Collaborate with team on network upgrades and capacity planning
- Perform routine network audits and performance optimization
- Adhere to ITIL best practices for incident and change management
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA certification required
- Proficiency with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
