Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk/Symantec) for threat detection and incident response
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Develop and maintain security documentation (policies, playbooks, reports)
- Lead incident investigations and coordinate forensic analysis
- Implement zero-trust architecture and access control mechanisms
- Collaborate with IT teams to remediate security gaps
- Provide security awareness training to staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience in SOC operations or threat hunting
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in NIST frameworks, CIS benchmarks, and ISO 27001
- Advanced knowledge of network security tools (Firewall, IDS/IPS, WAF)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to prioritize critical incidents
