Responsibilities
Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools to identify and respond to potential threats in real-time.Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in the network infrastructure.Investigate and remediate security incidents, documenting findings and post-incident reports.Enforce security policies and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related role.Certification such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC is highly preferred.Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and endpoint protection solutions.Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
