Responsibilities
- Design, install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs).
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues to ensure maximum uptime.
- Perform regular security audits and firewall configurations to protect company data.
- Manage and upgrade network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Document network architecture, changes, and procedures for future reference.
- Collaborate with the IT support team to resolve complex technical escalations.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or Network+ are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network administration or engineering.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF).
- Proficiency in configuring Cisco and Juniper network equipment.
