Responsibilities
- Tier 1 & 2 Support: Provide efficient technical support via phone, email, and ticketing systems for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Incident Management: Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems, escalating complex issues to senior engineers when necessary.
- System Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows) and productivity software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
- Asset Management: Assist in the deployment of new hardware and the management of IT assets and inventory.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of incidents, resolutions, and technical documentation in the knowledge base.
- User Training: Conduct training sessions and provide clear instructions to non-technical users on best practices.
- Remote Support: Utilize remote desktop tools to assist off-site employees effectively.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred.
- Experience: 1-3 years of professional experience in Help Desk or Technical Support.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Active Directory, TCP/IP, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts simply.
- Problem Solving: Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and accurately.
