Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and market opportunities through 2026+
- Develop and publish annual Future Impact Reports and innovation roadmaps for executive stakeholders
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align teams on future scenarios and strategic priorities
- Advise C-suite on emerging risks and opportunities in AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry thought leaders
- Translate future insights into product development roadmaps and investment thesis
- Lead organizational foresight initiatives to embed future-thinking into company culture
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of publishing influential future outlooks or disruption frameworks
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, climate tech, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing executive decision-making
- Strong data visualization and storytelling skills for complex future scenarios
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating successful innovation strategy implementation
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., from APF or WFS) preferred
