Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmap integrating quantum, AI, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional pods researching exponential tech adoption patterns
- Develop ethical frameworks for autonomous systems deployment
- Partner with venture capital arms to scout 2026-era startups
- Produce trend briefings for C-suite on emerging regulatory landscapes
- Coordinate with UN technology task forces on sustainable innovation standards
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Published thought leadership on exponential technologies (MIT Sloan, Nature Tech required)
- Deep expertise in at least three: quantum computing, AGI safety, neurotech, or climate tech
- Proven track record of launching 3+ future-focused products/services
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies (e.g., Schwartz's Art of the Long View)
- PhD or equivalent in CS, Futures Studies, or related field
- Security clearance preferred for national tech infrastructure projects
