Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps for AI, quantum, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with MIT/Stanford research partners
- Identify and patent breakthrough technologies with $10M+ market potential
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board of directors quarterly
- Manage $50M innovation fund allocation across emerging tech verticals
- Mentor PhD-level researchers in disruptive technology development
- Develop KPIs for measuring ROI on futuristic R&D initiatives
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record of commercializing breakthrough technologies
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Physics, or Biotechnology
- Deep expertise in at least three of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology
- Published author in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Experience with Fortune 500 technology transformation
- Patent portfolio with 10+ granted patents in future-tech domains
