Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in AI, biotech, and climate tech
- Conduct scenario planning for geopolitical and technological disruption scenarios
- Partner with venture capital teams to evaluate emerging startups and acquisition targets
- Present strategic frameworks to executive boards and investor committees
- Establish KPIs for measuring technological adoption and ROI of future-focused initiatives
- Author thought leadership publications on technology ethics and governance
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning, consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven experience with futures methodology and technology forecasting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, blockchain, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with data modeling and scenario planning tools
- Credibility with C-suite executives and ability to influence high-stakes decisions
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Engineering, or Business
- Published work on technological disruption or innovation strategy
- Experience working with global teams across multiple time zones
