Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with emerging trends in quantum computing, bio-digital integration, and autonomous systems
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype next-gen solutions in our Austin R&D facility
- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive technologies through partnerships with MIT Media Lab and SpaceX
- Architect ethical frameworks for AI deployment and human augmentation technologies
- Present strategic vision to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused technology investments
- Mentor junior strategists in future-proof methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech (quantum, AI, or biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- Proven track record leading cross-functional innovation initiatives
- Deep understanding of Web3, neuromorphic computing, and climate tech ecosystems
- Certified in Technology Strategy (CTS) or Futures Thinking (CTF)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature Futures journal
- Proficiency in Python for data modeling and Tableau for trend visualization
