Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and commercial teams
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on exponential technologies (e.g., neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology)
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-AI collaboration
- Secure $5M+ in strategic partnerships with research institutions and Fortune 500 companies
- Present future-vision narratives to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor junior futurists through our 'Tomorrow Leaders' program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Published research in exponential technologies (Nature/IEEE/ACM preferred)
- Track record of launching 3+ tech products with $100M+ revenue impact
- MSc/PhD in Computer Science, Biotechnology, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, synthetic biology)
- Certification in Technology Foresight (e.g., Millennium Project)
- Experience with regulatory frameworks for autonomous systems and AI ethics
