Responsibilities

- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to the board of directors
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Mentor junior strategists in future-scanning methodologies
- Author thought leadership publications on disruptive tech
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of scaling emerging technologies to market
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (e.g., quantum AI, neurotech)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting models
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem
- Published research or patents in emerging technology fields
- Fluency in strategic frameworks (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycle, Porter's Five Forces)
