Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough technologies with 2026+ commercial potential
- Develop and maintain technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to assess technical feasibility and market readiness of innovations
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and technology pioneers
- Present findings and recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting emerging tech adoption
- Drive innovation culture through thought leadership and internal education initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 10+ years experience in technology strategy, R&D, or venture innovation
- Proven track record in identifying and commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical and scenario-planning capabilities
- Strong presentation skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience working with executive leadership on strategic initiatives
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation journals
