Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps for emerging fields including quantum machine learning and neuro-interfaces
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and business teams
- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive technologies through patent analysis and academic partnerships
- Translate technical capabilities into commercial opportunities with $500M+ market potential
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Build and manage a global network of futurists and academic researchers
- Drive ethical frameworks for next-gen autonomous systems
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or venture capital
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, bio-engineering, AGI)
- Proven track record of launching technologies with $100M+ market impact
- Exceptional systems thinking and probabilistic forecasting abilities
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature journals
- Experience with scenario planning and technology adoption lifecycle models
