Responsibilities
- Assist in collecting, cleaning, and validating data sets to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Develop basic dashboards and reports using tools like Excel, SQL, and Tableau to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Conduct preliminary statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data sets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data queries.
- Maintain data documentation and support the data governance process.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical and analytical skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong foundation in mathematics and statistics; familiarity with concepts such as probability, distributions, and regression is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) is required.
- Basic understanding of SQL or Python is a plus, but we will train the right candidate.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
