Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and interpret data sets: Gather information from various sources to ensure accurate reporting.
- Identify trends and patterns: Use statistical methods to analyze data and provide actionable recommendations to the team.
- Create visualizations and dashboards: Build clear and concise charts, graphs, and reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Partner with marketing, sales, and operations to understand data needs.
- Maintain data integrity: Ensure that all data is accurate, consistent, and secure.
- Support decision-making processes: Present findings to management to help drive strategic decisions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros) and a basic understanding of SQL or Python.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and the ability to spot errors in data sets.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience: Internships or previous coursework in data analysis are a plus but not required.
