Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and PRTG
- Resolve network outages and security incidents within SLA timeframes
- Document network topology changes and configurations
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams on network hardening initiatives
- Support VoIP and wireless network implementations
- Conduct regular network audits and capacity planning
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, and Arista equipment
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN protocols
- Experience with network automation tools (Ansible, Python)
- Ability to troubleshoot complex Layer 2/3 issues
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
