Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Processing: Gather, clean, and organize large datasets from various internal and external sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Reporting: Develop clear, concise, and visually appealing reports and dashboards using tools like Excel, Tableau, or Power BI to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Trend Analysis: Analyze historical data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that can help drive strategic business decisions.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, operations) to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor data quality metrics and implement procedures to maintain data integrity across the organization.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of data sources, methodologies, and analytical processes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and basic understanding of SQL (SELECT, JOINs) is required; experience with Python or R is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies in data sets.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Proactive approach to troubleshooting data issues and finding solutions.
