Responsibilities
- Assist in the monitoring of security systems and SIEM alerts for potential threats.
- Conduct basic vulnerability assessments and support patch management initiatives.
- Support the IT team in implementing and maintaining security controls.
- Document security incidents and assist in root cause analysis.
- Perform routine security audits and compliance checks.
- Participate in cybersecurity awareness training and workshops.
- Help troubleshoot and resolve access issues for end-users securely.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Strong interest in network security and information protection.
- Willingness to obtain relevant security certifications (we will support this).
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS).
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites if required.
