Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Technology Roadmap: Identify and evaluate emerging tech trends, specifically focusing on Generative AI, Autonomous Systems, and Quantum Readiness, to build a scalable technology strategy.
- Lead Strategic R&D Initiatives: Oversee the research and development of experimental technologies, ensuring alignment with long-term business goals and competitive advantage.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with C-suite executives, product managers, and engineering teams to translate complex technological visions into actionable business strategies.
- Vendor & Partnership Management: Assess and manage relationships with cutting-edge tech startups and research institutions to secure early access to breakthrough innovations.
- Future-Proofing Operations: Implement frameworks that ensure our infrastructure remains resilient and adaptable to the rapid pace of technological evolution.
- Thought Leadership: Represent the company at industry conferences, contributing to the discourse on the future of technology.
Qualifications
- Strategic Vision: 10+ years of experience in a senior leadership role (Director or VP level) within the Technology or AI sector.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of AI/ML architectures, cloud infrastructure, and data science methodologies.
- Futurism: Proven ability to forecast technological shifts and translate them into tangible product and business strategies.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and board members.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Adaptability: Demonstrated success in leading teams through periods of significant technological change.
