Responsibilities
- Manage Weekend Data Ingestion: Oversee the daily collection and cleaning of large datasets to ensure 100% accuracy before the start of the business week.
- SQL & Database Management: Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data for weekly reporting cycles.
- Visual Reporting: Create compelling dashboards and visual reports in Tableau and Excel to visualize trends and anomalies specific to weekend performance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with operations managers to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights on weekend operational efficiency.
- Data Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous audits of data entry and database records to identify and rectify discrepancies.
- Automate Processes: Develop scripts to automate repetitive data analysis tasks, freeing up time for strategic analysis.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within a logistics, supply chain, or high-volume retail environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in SQL (advanced querying), Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP), and a scripting language such as Python or R.
- Visualization: Strong working knowledge of BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders clearly.
- Availability: Must be available to work a consistent weekend schedule (e.g., Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Sunday).
