The Role
As a Data Analyst, you will serve as the bridge between raw data and strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for gathering, processing, and performing statistical analyses on large data sets to solve business problems and identify trends.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and translate them into data-driven strategies.
- Extract, clean, and transform large datasets from various sources using SQL and Python.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations in Tableau or Power BI.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover hidden patterns, trends, and correlations.
- Generate comprehensive reports and executive summaries to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Identify process improvement opportunities by analyzing operational data and KPIs.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across all reporting systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Redshift) for querying and data extraction.
- Experience with Python (Pandas, NumPy) or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and complex formula modeling.
- Proven experience creating data visualizations using Tableau or Power BI.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present complex data to non-technical audiences.
