Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate security incidents, document findings, and coordinate remediation
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Stay current on emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies
- Support compliance initiatives (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in security operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewall, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Strong knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks
- Experience with Windows/Linux systems and cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure during security incidents
