Due to our 24/7 operational model, we are urgently seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our Night Shift operations in Raleigh, North Carolina. Responsibilities
- Monitor and Analyze Night Operations Data: Continuously track KPIs, performance metrics, and system logs during off-peak hours to identify trends and anomalies.
- Data Cleaning and Preparation: Extract, clean, and transform raw data from multiple sources using SQL and Python to ensure high data quality for reporting.
- Generate Reports: Create automated dashboards and static reports (using Tableau or Power BI) that summarize critical insights for the morning shift leadership.
- Database Management: Assist in maintaining and optimizing our SQL databases, including indexing and query performance tuning.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with Product Managers and Engineers to define data requirements and troubleshoot complex data issues.
- Forecasting: Utilize historical night-shift data to build predictive models that help optimize resource allocation for upcoming shifts.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within the Tech or E-commerce industry.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and Python (Pandas, NumPy). Experience with Tableau or Power BI is required.
- Tools: Familiarity with ETL tools (e.g., Airflow, Talend) and version control (Git).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to communicate complex findings clearly.
- Availability: Must be willing and able to work the Night Shift (e.g., 8:00 PM - 4:00 AM or similar rotation).
