Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, integrate, and clean large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform in-depth statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within the data.
- Reporting & Visualization: Develop compelling dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI to present findings to stakeholders clearly.
- SQL Querying: Write complex SQL queries to extract specific data subsets and support ad-hoc reporting requests.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies and recommend data-driven solutions.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of data models, processes, and analytical methodologies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in Data Analysis or a similar analytical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server) and Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Visualization Tools: Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Programming: Familiarity with Python or R is a strong plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
