Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, process, and validate large datasets to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and develop interactive visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.
- Statistical Analysis: Conduct complex statistical analysis to identify trends, correlations, and opportunities for growth within the organization.
- Report Generation: Create comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders, translating technical findings into clear, business-friendly insights.
- Database Management: Utilize SQL to query databases, extract specific datasets, and automate reporting workflows.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with IT and operations teams to identify data gaps and recommend solutions for improved data governance.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and experience with Python or R for data manipulation.
- Visualization Tools: Expert level proficiency in at least one visualization tool (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors, inconsistencies, or anomalies in data sets.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences.
