As a Data Analyst at Apex, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to deliver excellence. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze data sets, and present findings that lead to actionable business insights.
Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleaning: Collect, clean, and transform large, complex data sets into usable formats using SQL, Python, or Excel.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform advanced statistical analysis and modeling to identify trends, correlations, and anomalies within the data.
- Dashboard Creation: Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using tools like Tableau or Power BI to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Reporting: Generate regular reports and executive summaries for stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making processes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and business units to understand data needs and define metrics.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for operational efficiency and recommend process improvements based on data evidence.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in data analysis or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (strongly required), Python or R, and experience with BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Tools: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data visualization best practices.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset and the ability to troubleshoot data issues effectively.
