Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleansing: Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from various internal and external sources to ensure high-quality analysis.
- Advanced SQL Queries: Develop complex SQL queries to extract specific data sets and support ad-hoc reporting needs.
- Visual Analytics: Design and build interactive dashboards in Tableau and Power BI to visualize complex data trends for stakeholders.
- Statistical Modeling: Apply statistical methods to analyze data sets and identify trends, correlations, and anomalies.
- Business Reporting: Create comprehensive, data-driven reports and presentations to communicate findings to non-technical audiences.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization by analyzing current data workflows and identifying bottlenecks.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command of SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Python (Pandas, NumPy) for data manipulation.
- Visualization Tools: Expert level experience with Tableau or Power BI is mandatory.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with a proven track record of maintaining data integrity.
