Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and monitor advanced security measures to protect digital assets and infrastructure
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits across cloud/on-premise environments
- Incident response management including threat analysis, containment, and remediation
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into DevOps pipelines
- Lead security awareness training programs for employees
- Monitor SIEM platforms and respond to security alerts in real-time
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Proficiency in security tools: Splunk, Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, or similar
- Strong understanding of network security protocols and encryption standards
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST SP 800-61)
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to document complex security scenarios
