Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to cyber incidents with SOC protocols
- Conduct vulnerability scans and penetration testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on threat intelligence
- Document incident reports and compliance documentation
- Implement security controls for cloud/on-premises environments
- Stay current with emerging threats and attack vectors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Cybersecurity/IT or equivalent experience
- 3+ years SOC/night shift security operations experience
- CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification required
- Expertise in network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell)
- Incident response handling (NIST framework)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
